Provisional version of 2026-10-26. It applies to the Site and to orders placed while it is shown. A lawyer will review it, and the few facts still missing will follow. We tell account holders before any change that affects them.
Terms and conditions
Effective date: 2026-10-26
These terms govern your use of distoria.shop (the "Site") and every order you place on it. The Site is operated by Keykibotos Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202647762W), registered office 110 ROBINSON ROAD, #08-00, ERH BUILDING, Singapore 068901 ("DISTORIA", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@distoria.shop or by telephone at (number to follow).
By using the Site you accept these terms. When you place an order, you accept them again at checkout, as they stand that day; we keep a record of the version you accepted.
1. Who may use the Site
The Site is for adults aged 18 and over. By using it, you confirm that you are.
The Site is not directed to people in mainland China, and we do not ship prints there.
2. What the readings are
DISTORIA calculates the sky of a moment from public astronomical data, and reads it through symbolic traditions: Western astrology, Chinese BaZi, Korean Saju, Thai astrology, and Pythagorean and Chaldean numerology.
- The astronomical figures (the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets, the stars above a place) are calculated with care; each card states the method and sources it used.
- The readings are symbolic traditions, offered for culture and entertainment. They are not a prediction, and not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Do not make decisions about your health, money or relationships on the strength of them.
3. Your account
Some features, and every order, need an account. You agree to give a valid email address, to keep your password to yourself, and to tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page; section 9 of our Privacy policy says what that deletes and what we must keep.
We may suspend or close an account used unlawfully, used to harm others or the Site, or used in breach of these terms.
4. Orders
What you order. Cards of a moment you describe (a birth, a meeting, a wedding, a farewell and the other moments the Site offers), as digital files; the reading booklet, a PDF unfolding each reading, if you add it; prints of those cards, framed if you choose; and gift cards. Each order comes with a certificate of calculation, except a gift card.
The details you give. A card is made from the date, time, place and names you enter. Please check them at the review step: we make the cards from them as given, and a card made from a mistyped detail is not a defect (section 8).
The contract. Your order is an offer to buy, made when you press Order and pay (or, for an order a gift card pays, Order with my gift card). The contract is formed when we confirm it: the order number shown when you place your order, and in your account. We also email you the confirmation, with the details you gave, the request you made for your digital files and these terms attached, to keep.
Prices. Prices are in United States dollars and are those shown on the Site when you order, including the price of each card in the order (each moment priced on its own, at the full pack's price from its fifth card), of each print and of each frame. Paid online in US dollars, the price shown is the price you pay: any sales tax or VAT due where you live is included in it. The payment page may also offer to charge you in your own currency instead, at an exchange rate it shows before you pay, which includes a conversion fee of a few percent; paying in US dollars avoids it, though your bank may charge its own. Paid by arrangement, any tax or duty due is shown before you pay, or charged by your country on delivery of a print.
Payment online. Where the Site offers it, you pay on the secure page of our payment provider, Link, the merchant of record service of Stripe: "Pay" on the last step of your order, or on the order in your account. Link resells the order to you as its merchant of record: it takes the payment, collects and pays the tax included in the price, and emails you the receipt and the invoice; your statement shows "LINK.COM*". Its own terms cover the payment, and its support answers questions about it. We never see or keep your card details. We remain responsible to you for making and delivering your order, and under these terms.
Payment by arrangement. An order the Site does not offer to pay online (a print, a gift card, or any order while online payment is not available) is paid by arrangement: we write to you at your account's email address. We start making an order once it is paid.
5. Delivery
Digital files. Your cards and certificate are made after payment, usually within two working days, and appear in your account, where you can download them in the version you chose (light or dark), as PNG and PDF files. We email you when they are ready.
Prints. A print is printed, and framed if you chose a frame, after payment and shipped to the address you give, usually within the time we confirm with your order. We tell you when it leaves, with its tracking number when there is one. The risk passes to you when the print is delivered to you.
6. Your right to withdraw
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country that gives consumers a right to withdraw from a distance contract, it applies as follows:
- Cards and prints are made to the details you give and are clearly personalised: they are excluded from the right of withdrawal.
- Digital files. At checkout, you ask us to start making your files straight away, and acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once we have. Without that request and acknowledgement, we would have to wait until the withdrawal period ended.
- Gift cards are not personalised. You may withdraw within 14 days of buying one, as long as its code has not been used, by writing to hello@distoria.shop; you may use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to. We refund you within 14 days, by the means you paid with, and the code stops working.
In Japan, cards and prints are sold without a right to return them (Act on Specified Commercial Transactions, Article 15-3): they are made to the details you give. We show this with each print offer and at the last step of your order.
This does not affect your rights if something we deliver is faulty (section 8).
7. Gift cards
A gift card pays for one card of the recipient's choice, among those the moment they choose allows. It is valid for five years from the day it is issued. It has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. It pays for one card only; anything else in the same order is paid as usual. Keep its code safe: anyone who has it can use it.
8. If something is wrong
- If a card or certificate we deliver does not match the details you gave, or a file is damaged, we remake it free of charge.
- If a print or its frame arrives damaged or faulty, send us a photograph within 14 days of delivery and we replace it, or refund it if we cannot.
- These remedies are in addition to the rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer, which these terms never remove or reduce.
9. What you may do with your cards
Your cards are for your personal, non-commercial use: to keep, print, frame, share and give. The design, layout, texts, logo and star remain ours. You may not resell the cards, use them to make products for sale, or copy the Site's designs.
10. Our liability
We make the Site and our cards with care, but we cannot promise the Site will always be available or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you ordered, nor for decisions you make on the strength of a reading (section 2).
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, and nothing removes the rights a consumer has under the law of the country where they live.
11. Your personal data
How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy policy and our Cookie notice.
12. Changes
We may change these terms, for example when the Site or the law changes. The version in force when you order applies to that order. We publish every change here, with its effective date, and tell account holders by email of any change that affects them.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country's law, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.
Before going to court, please write to us at hello@distoria.shop: most problems are solved quickly that way. We answer within 14 days.
