DISTORIA began with a simple idea: to hold on to the sky of a moment we love. Not a drawing of the stars, but the real sky, exactly as it stood above us at that minute, in that place.
Because the moments that matter never come back. The night you met. The morning your child was born. The day you said yes, or the evening you said goodbye. Each one happened under a sky that will never return in quite the same way. We wanted a way to keep it.
So we built DISTORIA to freeze that sky for any moment you choose: a birth, an anniversary, an engagement, a reunion, a first home, a farewell. If it mattered to you, it happened under a sky, and we can give it back to you.

The Sky card is the heart of DISTORIA. It is a keepsake and a conversation piece in one, computed for its own moment.

Some star maps are decorative and look the same whatever date you type. Ours are not. Each Sky card is computed individually from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) ephemeris data, the DE421 ephemeris, the same kind of astronomical reference used to track planets and spacecraft.
That means the sky on your card is the sky that actually stretched above that place at that minute. The science stays precise, and the design stays minimal, so the moment is what you notice first.
And you do not have to take our word for it. Every Sky card comes with its own certificate listing the information used to compute it, together with a QR code. Scan it to confirm the card at distoria.shop/verify, and compare its data with any ephemeris.
Most sky maps stop at the picture. DISTORIA lets you choose how your moment is interpreted, and each reading you order comes with its own card and visuals.

Is a DISTORIA sky map astronomically accurate?
Yes. Every Sky card is computed individually for the exact date, time and place you enter, from NASA JPL’s DE421 ephemeris for the positions of the Sun, the Moon and the planets, held within a minute of arc of JPL Horizons on our test suite.
How can I verify the data on my Sky card?
Every Sky card comes with its own certificate listing the information used to compute it, the date, time and place of your moment, along with a QR code. Scan it, or type its number at distoria.shop/verify, to confirm the card; each reading on your order is computed again there and compared with yours.
Which readings does DISTORIA offer?
Six: Western astrology, Chinese BaZi, Korean Saju, Thai astrology, Pythagorean numerology and Chaldean numerology. Each reading you choose comes with its own card and visuals.
Can I order several cards?
Yes. You build your own selection, mixing moments and readings freely, and the more cards a moment holds, the lower the price of each one.
