The Ten Gods (십신)

The Ten Gods classify every stem against the day master — authority, wealth, resource, output, peer.

Friend
비견, the Friend, is the self met again outside: peers on the same footing, and company that neither leads nor follows.
Rob Wealth
겁재, the Rob Wealth, is the self met as a rival: the same appetite in someone else, competing for the same things.
Eating God
식신, the Eating God, is the self poured out at its own pace: making, teaching, feeding — output that costs nothing to give.
Hurting Officer
상관, the Hurting Officer, is output with an edge: the sharp word, the critique, the talent that will not stay polite.
Indirect Wealth
편재, the Indirect Wealth, is money and scope that arrive sideways: windfalls, ventures, and things managed in bulk.
Direct Wealth
정재, the Direct Wealth, is what is earned steadily: salary, land, and value built one measured step at a time.
Seven Killings
편관, the Seven Killings, is pressure without paperwork: the crisis, the competitor, the demand that does not wait for the rules.
Direct Officer
정관, the Direct Officer, is authority met from outside: the rule, the institution, the standard you answer to.
Indirect Resource
편인, the Indirect Resource, is support that arrives unasked: the odd teacher, the unusual inheritance, help in a strange shape.
Direct Resource
정인, the Direct Resource, is support in its proper form: learning, protection, and the backing that makes you legitimate.
